As a former CEO of AirLogix, I know of no clients who did not intensely and authoritatively participate or drive the reconciliation process when program evaluation was due. The process involved informatics experts on both sides and sometimes took months to come to concensus. When I hear Al speak, I wonder where in the world are those kinds of clients? Where are the clients who will completely abdicate the evaluation to the vendor? In 7 years with AirLogix, I never met one. Were we just selling to the toughest clients out there? I don't think so. Clients who are sophisticated about the DM/Population approach are also sophisticated in informatics and analytics.
